Horizon 2020 (H2020) is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme with €77 billion of funding available over seven years (2014-2020). H2020 helps Europe to produce world-class science and makes it easier for the public and private sectors to work together in deploying innovation on the market.
H2020 is open to everyone and hundreds of universities, technological centers, SMEs and companies participate in this huge programme.
Horizon 2020 offers a dashboard, the Horizon Dashboard, as an intuitive and interactive reporting platform, in which the details on funded projects and their participants are publicly accessed.
Synapse’s participation in H2020, including the Innovative Medicines Agency, comprises 16 H2020 projects with a total funding of over 11M, being placed as the first SME in Europe in the Health domain.
Synapse works with high experienced researchers and organisations with whom jointly lead large research projects in the biomedical sector. Synapse contribution in projects ranges from vision management to strategic project orientation, including several aspects as project intelligence, business planning and valorisation of results.
