Understanding the effectiveness of influenza vaccinesis a priority for both public health experts and vaccine manufacturers. DRIVE is a public-private partnership initiative setup to perform brand-specific influenza vaccine effectiveness studies in Europe.
Because the DRIVE governance model is unique andinnovative in the European environment, its acceptability and performance willbe evaluated throughout the 5-year project by collecting feedback from bothexternal stakeholders and DRIVE partners.
Synapse is having a critical role in DRIVE bysupporting the Project Coordinator to ensure that the project governance isenabling the most appropriate structure for the monitoring of the project andthe achievement of the expected results.
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
DRIVE aims at developing a governance model between public and private entities to enable a sustainable network of influenza vaccine effectiveness. This model will ensure scientific independence in the studies and full transparency, allowing different stakeholders to fulfil their needs considering their respective obligations and statutes.
