Last 20th – 21st June, more than 120 representatives of ERA4TB partners met in Madrid after 2 years with the occasion of the 5th Consortium Meeting, an event co-organised by Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Synapse.
At the introductory plenary session titled ‘Overview of project management aspects’, Carlos Díaz, our Founder & CEO, shared some critical thoughts stating that “how our project will be remembered depends on all of us going on the extra mile to unleash the huge ERA4TB potential”.
Elena del Rey, responsible of the day-to-day management of the project also participated in the plenary session sharing with the audience an update on the management project aspects – “ERA4TB is making an extremely efficient use of resources to progress the molecules currently in the pipeline”.
The 5th Consortium Meeting of ERA4TB was an opportunity to meet F2F again with the project partners to enhance the collaboration and to share updates on the project activities mainly in the area of assets’ progression and capacity creation. Moreover, on this edition, two satellite workshops were organised to further discuss about new clinical trials design of early clinical trials and Hollow Fiber System model of Tuberculosis.
ERA4TB (European Regimen Accelerator for Tuberculosis) project is a public-private initiative devoted to accelerating the development of new treatment regimens for tuberculosis. The ERA4TB platform is based on a progression pipeline that can cater simultaneously for a variety of molecules at different stages of development.
